Warmers, coolers and fillers are short activities, often in the form of a game, which are used to motivate and encourage students and to have some fun. While warmers are great to be introduced at the beginning of a lesson, coolers can help calm students down and the fillers save us when a planned activity was too short and the teacher has a few minutes left.
